18 Months

WOW, Ash is 18 months!

Ashlynn weighs 23 lbs 9oz and is 34 inches tall. I'm pretty sure she is gong to be taller than me. Her tall thin frame is making it hard to find pants that are long enough without being to big on her. I have actually been making the transition to tights and dresses or shorts over tights so that her clothes will fit and she wont look like a weirdo.

She knows words but doesn't really talk to us, she would much rather just point at things. You have to beg her to say words, but here are the ones she knows:
mama, dada, up, please, bye bye, sit (well it sounds like shit, so not really sure), ball, this, mine (yep, first word she learned at daycare), she knows meow for cat, moo for cow, and bow wow wow for dog, which she has shortened to bow.
Were hoping that daycare will help her start learning more words and actually start using them.

Ashlynn is doing better at daycare. The teacher said that today she actually played with the other kids and interacted with them, which is a first. Also she didn't cry today when she got picked up. HOWEVER she screamed most of the way home. She hates being in her cars seat, especially after we pick her up from school. We still have a long way to go with her temperment when we get home at night, but I'm sure it will improve over time.
